Objective
This major is committed to cultivating students who love their motherland, support the leadership of the Communist Party, uphold the socialist system, adhere to the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and follow the development of finance with Chinese characteristics. Students are trained to have a correct worldview, outlook on life, and values, to be well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, and to possess good political and professional qualities. They are expected to systematically master the basic theories of finance and the basic principles and techniques of financial engineering, and to have knowledge in finance, accounting, economics, management, law, and artificial intelligence. Graduates will be capable of developing and designing new financial instruments and financial methods, using artificial intelligence-related applications, and creatively and individually proposing solutions to financial problems. They will be able to carry out financial risk management, investment strategy planning, and research on financial derivatives, and work in multinational companies and financial institutions in financial management, financial analysis, and planning as applied financial engineering professionals.
